Constrains

Constrains

As we mentioned before, plans that (even temporarily) create fed loops in the network are invalid. Valid plans must comply with the power capacity constraints defined previously. This might prevent directing the power through certain paths and resupplying all the non-faulty areas.

Supply restoration systems often restrict the search space of possible plans to so called level-1 plans: plans, which only extend existing feeders. That is, the plan does not transfer any of the loads that a healthy feeder had at the time of the incident to another feeder.
