Air Traffic Control training

The course for Air traffic controllers teaches how to keep air traffic flying safe and efficient. You will be able to help pilots to take off and land safely, and make sure that planes are kept a safe distance apart.
You will be responsible for a particular section of airspace and be in frequent radio contact with pilots flying over their section, giving them instructions, advice and information.

The training is composed of two phases. Phase I is the initial (basic) training phase and it is compulsory and a prerequisite for Phase II.
Phase II is the rating training and includes modules for each specific domain such as:
• aerodrome control training
• approach control, procedural
• area control, procedural
• approach control, radar
• area control, radar
