Forestry Conservation training

A general course for students interested in management, use, and conservation of forest resources. Topics include resource description, historical perspectives, current issues, forest biology and management principles. The first part of the course will focus on establishing a basic knowledge of tree biology and forest ecosystem ecology. The later part of the course will explore the complexity of current issues and their links to forests. Together we will expand our understanding of how forests influence nearly every aspect of our daily lives.
