This course covers both practical and theoretical aspects of managing a small wood.
A theoretical and practical introduction to managing a small area of woodland, the course begins with an overview of the importance of sustainability in woodland management and introduces techniques to identify different types of woodland, assess and monitor wildlife and help promote biodiversity.
