IMPLEMENTATION STRATEGY OF THE POWER PROJECT
The Embedded Power Generation of 10MWh IGCC is designed to secure 24/7 power supply to the whole Enpower Free Trade Zone (EFTZ) in Enugu State, Nigeria. The Plant shall primarily and uninterruptedly supply power to the ICT Market, consisting of 1,800 Stores of Eight (8) Standard Store Buildings, One (1) Welcome Centre, One (1) Duty Free Shopping Centre and Five (5) Warehouses. Of course, the remaining electric power shall be used for the electrification of all the facilities of the zone.

ONLINE ELECTRICITY CONNECTION APPLICATION AND AGREEMENTS

Application for Electricity Connection Agreement
Use this Form to apply for electricity connection to XENERGI embedded power generation. Always fill the parts that concern your needs (low, medium or high voltage connection). Also use it to apply for changes (merger or division of connection point, ...). -
Online Electricity Connection Agreement
The agreement between the Occupier/Owner and XENERGI LTD (owner and operator of the EFTZ embedded power generation network). It sets out the connection terms and conditions. All you need to do is to fill it in, sign it, and send it online to XENERGI. -
Online Associated Electricity Supply Services Agreement
The agreement of the related services to the Connections Agreement between XENERGI LTD and each owner / occupier with the zone. This agreement states the terms and conditions for the provision of services by XENERGI to the tenant.
LICENSING
Application License for Embedded Power Generation by NERC
Under the regulations of the Nigeria Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), the Embedded Power Generator, XENERGI LIMITED, engages and negotates independent Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with the Free Trade Zone Independent Electricity Distribution Company, ENPOWER FREE TRADE MANAGEMENT COMPANY. Embedded Generation does not require Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with NBET and Connection Agreement with TCN.

NOTE:
The Embedded Power Generation Licensee (XENERGI LIMITED) generates power and evacuates through the existing Electricity Distribution facilities of the Independent Electricity Distribution Licensee (ENPOWER FREE TRADE ZONE MANAGEMENT COMPANY) of the Free Trade Zone.
