Solar PV Projects Under Development
OUR LIST OF SELECTED PROJECTS UNDER DEVELOPMENT WORLDWIDE
These lists of Solar PV projects under development consist of those ones that have been preliminary judged technically, environmentally, financially and economically viability by our experts before being listed in our international renewable energy project programme and investment platforms. While registering these projects, we also provide free consultancy services to our registered members, enabling them to satisfactorily implemente their projects with the highest efficiency and lowest cost possible. These free consultancy services consist only of the provision of the right implementation road map and procedures, but do not include the physical bankable development of the project.
AFRICA
Africa is often considered and referred as the "Sun continent" or the continent where the Sun's influence is the greatest. According to the "World Sunshine Map", Africa receives many more hours of bright sunshine during the course of the year than any other continent of the Earth: many of the sunniest places on the planet lie there. Despite the large solar potential, penetration of solar power in Africa's energy sector is still very low. Africa's cumulative total reached 6.36 GW at the end of 2019. View List

EUROPE
Solar energy has already taken a key role in delivering the European Green Deal, securing ambition, a just and fair transition, and ensuring Europe’s security of supply. Europe had 138.2 GW of installed solar power by the end of 2019, with 129.8 GW installed in the European Union. Germany is still the continent's largest market with 49.9 GW, followed by Italy at 20.9 GW, the United Kingdom with 13.3 GW, France with 10.5 GW, and Spain with 8.6 GW. World now has 583.5 GW of operational PV. View List
ASIA AND THE MIDDLE EAST
Asia has the largest share of PV capacity, at 330.1 GW of cumulative installed capacity. China is the largest market in the region with 205.7 GW of cumulative installations, followed by Japan with 61.8 GW, India with 34.8 GW, and South Korea with 10.5 GW. In the Middle East, total PV capacity reached 5.14 GW. The region's solar champions are the United Arab Emirates and Israel, with 1.7 GW and 1.1 GW of respective cumulative installations. View List

NORTH AMERICA AND SOUTH AMERICA
The South America's cumulative installed PV capacity stood at 6.46 GW by the end of December. Chile with 2.6 GW of cumulative installations is the largest market in the continent, followed by Brazil with 2.4 GW. North America, meanwhile, has reached a cumulative PV capacity of 55.3 GW, of which 49.6 GW is in the United States. Mexico and Canada account for the remaining 3.1 GW and 2.5 GW, respectively. Total new additions for the continent reached 10.5 GW last year. View List
OCEANIA
Oceania’s accumulated total reached 16.23 GW, led by Australia with 15.9 GW. The Solar Energy Market in Oceania is mainly dominated by Australia, which has a massive solar energy potential due to the abundant solar resource. Solar energy is one of the fastest-growing industries in Australia. Australia has been criticised for generating a very small share of its energy from solar power. The solar demand is mainly driven by New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland. View List
