Return Policies

 

MDA CAPITAL INVEST, A.S. (MDACI) and all Sellers on MDACI Marketplace on www.mdacapitalinvest.com offer for items within a 30-day period return deadline from effective date of receitp of the product by the Buyer. of thirty (30) days.

 

 I.   Global Store Return Policy

    1. It can take up to 25 days for an item to reach us once you return it. Once the item is received at our fulfillment centre, it takes 2 business days for the refund to be processed and 3-5 business days for the refund amount to show up in your account.

    2. Your return label will require you to return the item at your own expense. MDACI will automatically refund up to €20 for return postage costs on receipt of the item. If your return postage costs exceed €20, you may contact our Customer Service Centre to request a refund of the remaining postage cost. If you return a defective, damaged or incorrect item, you’ll be refunded the full postage cost, as well as your Import Fees Deposit, once your return is processed.

 

II.   Seller Return Policy

    1. When you order from a seller that fulfills and ships its own inventory (also called a third party seller), your return is sent back to the seller instead of MDACI. While most sellers offer a returns policy equivalent to MDAC's, some seller returns policies may vary. You can view the return policy of the seller before you purchase an item by viewing the Returns and Refunds Policy section of the seller profile page. To view the seller's return policy, once you've ordered, you can select your order in the Return Centre.

    2. Third-party sellers must either provide a return address within the United States, provide a prepaid return label, or offer a full refund without requesting the item be returned. If a seller does not offer these methods to return your items, you may file an A-to-Z Guarantee claim to seek help with your return. 

    3. If you are sending the item within Czechia and the European Union and the order is over €90, insure the shipment for the value of the merchandise and ship your return with a signature shipping service. Items over €25 must be returned to Seller with a trackable shipping service. For items below €35, we suggest the EU States Postal Services delivery confirmation service. If a package doesn't arrive and you don't use a trackable method to return or if you refuse the shipment as a method of return, we may not be able to cover you under the MDACI Guarantee.

NOTE: If the seller's listing is eligible for MDACI Prime, it will be subject to the same return policies as items fulfilled by MDACI that are outlined on this page.

 

III.  Delivery with Services

    1. Returns or exchanges for items purchased from a third-party seller that provided a Delivery with Service (in-home unpacking, installation, assembly, etc.) have to be scheduled by the seller.

    2. During the scheduled return pick-up, the seller will uninstall or disassemble, and pick up the item. 

    3. All sellers participating in the Delivery with Services program are required to support scheduled return pickups or exchanges. 

    4. If a seller does not offer these methods, or is non-responsive to scheduling an appointment to return your items, you may contact the MDACI Home Services team, or file an MDACI Guarantee claim.

    5. If a Delivery with Services item is missing parts or damaged through customer misuse, the customer may be charged a restocking fee based on the condition of the product. 

 

IV.  MDACI's Products and Devices 

    1. MDACI-branded devices such as Kindle e-readers, Fire tablets, MDACI Fire TV devices, and Echo devices and their accompanying MDACI-branded accessories purchased from MDACI can be returned within 30 days of receipt of shipment as long as they remain in the same condition as the date of purchase.

    2. All MDACI-branded devices and accessories that are returned and for which a refund or replacement is given will become the property of MDACI upon receipt.

 

V.  MDACI Fresh and Grocery Items

    1. Grocery items (including MDACI Fresh and Prime Pantry items) and wine are not returnable to MDACI but may be refunded or replaced.

    2. See "About Spilled or Demaged Fresh Items" for information on requesting a refund.

 

VI.  MDACI Handmade

    1. Products sold by Handmade Makers are subject to the standard A-to-z Guarantee policies for MDACI. The exception to this are items that are purchased with optional customization options, other than size and colour. See Customized Products for additional details.

 

VII. MDACI Photos 

    1. MDACI Photos printed products are not returnable but may be refunded or replaced.

 

VIII. MDACI Renewed

    1. Products on MDACI Renewed are backed by the MDACI Renewed Guarantee where specifically mentioned on the product detail page. With this guarantee, you are eligible for a replacement or refund within 90 days of receiving the product if it does not work as expected.

    2. MDACI Renewed products can be returned within 90 days of receipt of shipment, and qualify for free return shipping. If your return is not the result of an MDACI error, or defective, MDACI will not refund the original shipping fees.

    3. MDACI Renewed products sold by third-party sellers, follow the standard 30-day MDACI return policy.

 

IX.  MDACI Warehouse

    1. In most cases, used or open box items purchased from MDACI Warehouse and shipped from MDACI can be returned within 30 days from shipment date. Some products have different policies or requirements associated with them. 

    2. Certified Refurbished items sold by MDACI Warehouse can be returned within 90 days of receipt of shipment. 

 

X.   Automotive Items

    1. If you've purchased a defective automotive item, shipped from and sold by MDACI, that is covered by a published manufacturer warranty, MDACI honours the warranty. MDACI will either replace the item or refund the money for the life of the published warranty.

 

XI.  Baby Items

    1. Baby items can be returned within 90 days of receipt of product or shipment.
    2. Gifts purchased from a Baby Registry can be returned within 365 days from effective date of receipt of shipment.
    3. Breast pumps must be returned unused in their original condition with the factory seal and packaging intact.
    4. If your return is not a result of an MDACI error, no shipping fee will be refunded.

 

XII.  Clothing and Accessories

    1. You can return clothing and accessories up to 30 days after the delivery date.
    2. Items from our Drop Collections are eligible for returns, but a return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund due because the item is made-on-demand for you.

 

XIII. Collectibles (sports & entertainment)

    1. You must return collectible items valued over €25, using a trackable method. Items  valued over €100, must also be insured.
    2. All product packaging (boxes, manuals, warranty cards, etc.) and certificates of authenticity, grading, and appraisal must be returned with the item. 
    3. Any items returned without original documentation will be rejected. 
    4. Before shipping a return, photograph the item for your records.

 

XIV. Collectible Coins

    1. To request return information, contact the third-party seller within 14 days of receipt. Your return must be postmarked within 30 days of the date you received the item.
    2. Items valued over €30 must be returned, using a trackable shipping method. 
    3. Before shipping a return, photograph the item for your records.
    4. Graded Coins and Original Government Packaged Coins must be returned in their original packaging, along with any supporting documentation. 
    5. Returns without the original packaging and documentation will be rejected. 
    6. Collectible Coins that have been damaged or otherwise altered after delivery will not be accepted for return.

 

 

 

XV.  Computers and Electronics 

    1. New desktop, laptops, or tablets purchased from MDACI that didn't start when they arrived, arrived in damaged condition, or is still in an unopened box can be returned for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. 

    2. MDACI.com may test computers that are returned because they didn't start when they arrived and impose a customer fee equal to 15 percent of the product sales price if the customer misrepresents the condition of the product.

    3. Any returned desktop, laptop or tablet that is damaged through customer misuse, is missing parts, or is in unsellable condition due to customer tampering may result in the customer being charged a higher restocking fee based on the condition of the product.

    4. New, used, and refurbished products purchased from Marketplace vendors are subject to the returns policy of the individual vendor.

NOTE: Please delete completely saved information and data on an electronic device, such as laptop, camera, etc. before retuning it.

 

XIV. Customized Products

Customized products include products that are configured, personalized, or inscribed; for example, engravings, stamps, monograms, embroidery, embossing, etching, carving, or printing. Customized products sold by third-party sellers fall under the A-to-z Guarantee. To file a claim for these items please note the following: 

    1. Notification to the third-party seller within 14 days of receipt of item for return.

    2. Due to personal configuration, inscription, or design on these products, the third-party seller is not required to accept returns or exchanges unless the products are damaged/defective upon arrival, or materially different from what was ordered.

    3. If there is a misspelling or error in the configuration, inscription, or design due to a mistake by the third-party seller, you are protected per the MDACI Guarantee.

    4. All product packaging (such as boxes) and if applicable; certificates of authenticity, grading, and appraisal must be returned with the item. Products missing all their applicable tags are not acceptable for return.

 

XV.  Digital Products

    1. Unless otherwise specified, games, software downloads, and purchases from the MDACI Appstore, the MDACI Digital Music store or the MDACI Video store are not returnable after purchase.

    2. Books purchased from the Kindle Store can be returned within seven days of purchase. Once a refund is issued, you can't have access to the book. To request a refund and return content, visit Manage Your Content and Devices, select the Actions button next to the title you'd like to return, and select Return for Refund.

    3. Kindle books you receive as a gift are eligible for exchange for an MDACI.com Gift Card before acceptance.

    4. Subscriptions to titles in the Newsstand section of the Kindle Store (magazines, newspapers, and blogs) can be canceled at any time by visiting Manage Your Content and Devices.

    5. Apps and In-App Products purchased from the MDACI Appstore may be eligible for a refund within 90 days of purchase, depending on the circumstances of your order. To request a refund, visit Your Orders and select "Return for Refund" next to that order. If you do not see a "Return for Refund" button, you are not eligible for a refund for that order.

    6. Digital educational resources can be returned within seven days of purchased for a resource that has not yet been downloaded.

 

XVI. Fine Art 

    1. Fine Art items with a value of €40 or more must be returned using a trackable shipping method. Items with a value more than €500 must also be insured.

    2. All product packaging (boxes, etc.) and certificates of authenticity and appraisal must be returned with the item. 

    3. Any Fine Art item returned without original documentation will be rejected. 

    4. Any Fine Art items that have been damaged, or otherwise altered after delivery, won't be accepted for return.

    5. Before sending a Fine Art return, photograph the item for your records.

 

XVII. Gift Cards

    1. Gift Cards are not returnable after purchase (except as required by law).

XVIII. Hazardous Materials

    1. Hazardous materials, including flammable liquids or gases are not returnable.

    2. Contact the manufacturer directly for service, warranty, return, and refund information.

 

XIX. Jewelry and Watches

    1. Jewelry and watch items with a value of €35 or more must be returned using a trackable shipping method.

    2. All product packaging (Boxes, Manuals, Warranty Cards, etc.) and certificates of authenticity, grading, and appraisal must be returned with the item. 

    3. Any items returned without original documentation will be rejected. 

    4. Items that have been resized, damaged, or otherwise altered after delivery won't be accepted for return.

 

XX. Live Plants or Insects

    1. Fresh flowers, live indoor plants, or insects are not returnable to MDACI, but may be refundable.

 

XXI. Mattresses

    1. Mattresses in original packaging are returnable from your porch.

    2. Unboxed, expanded, and full size mattresses are not returnable to MDACI. If you're not satisfied with the quality of product, we will issue you a full refund within 30 days of receipt of shipment.

    3. Contact the manufacturer directly for product registration and warranty related information.

 

XXII. Pet Food

    1. Pet food and similar products are not returnable to MDACI, but may be refundable.

 

XXIII. Pre-Paid Phone or Game Cards 

    1. Pay As You Go (or prepaid) phone cards or prepaid game cards (World of Warcraft, Xbox 360 Live, Wii Points, etc.) are not returnable to MDACI.

 

XXIV. Software and Video Games

    1. Software and video games can be returned for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. Returned software or video games that are activated, used, or missing parts will incur up to a 100% restocking fee.

 

XXV. Televisions

    1. Returns for televisions shipped without Enhanced Delivery should be in new and unopened condition.

    2. To return a television shipped with Enhanced Delivery, the item should be in like-new condition. When the carrier comes to pick up the television, they bring their own packaging materials.

 

XXVI. Wedding Registry Items

    1. Items purchased from your MDACI Wedding Registry as a gift can be returned within 180 days of delivery.

    2. Items purchased by the registry owner are subject to the standard 30-day MDACI Return Policy.

NOTE: We're very proud of our high quality products. If you don't love them, we're happy to give you a full refund within a period of  365 days from effective date of receipt of the product.

 

XXVII. Shoes and Accessories

    1. You can return shoes (Boots, Trainers, Canvas, Heels, Brogues, Court Shoes and Slippers, etc.) and accessories (Boot Jacks, Colours and Dyes, Shoe Brushes, Shoe Care Kits, etc.) up to 30 days from the effective date of delivery.
    2. Items from our Drop Collections are eligible for returns, but a return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund due because Drop Collections (as known) are specifically made-on-demand for consumers (i.e. you).
