This "Baby Amarone" has been produced since 1964. It is an intermediate stage between ordinary Veneto wines and the super rich Amarone wines. 70% Corvin, 25% Rondinell and 5% Molinar using the so-called double fermentation method. 30% of grapes are dried and the rest is fermented in tanks. The two parts are then combined and a second fermentation takes place. It also matures for 2 years in oak barrels. The wine combines freshness and simplicity with grace, strength and intensity. It is a rich, round and velvety wine that accompanies the game or cheese.
