This wine is the result of long aging in oak barrels. The minimum age of wines used in the mixture is 20 years. For production were used varieties: Tinta Francisca, Tinta Carvalha, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Francesa, Touriga Nacional. Already in the fragrance offers a huge variety of delicate and mature tones. Amber-chestnut color with ocher edges. The rich and deep aroma turns into an unusual velvety taste, with tones of spices, liquorice, walnuts, vanilla, marmalades and, at the end, tones of oak wood. It is complex, rich, mature and decent. Royal Oporto celebrated an incredible 250 years of establishment in 2006.
