Important 

The application rule VDE-AR-E 2100-712 requires, among other things, that after switching off the AC power supply, emergency personnel are not endangered by direct contact with live DC lines that still have voltages of > 120Vdc.
SolarEdge P-Series power optimizers meet this requirement with the patented SafeDC ™ function (1 V safety voltage). SolarEdge power optimizers allow automatic and fail-safe reduction of the DC voltage to a safe voltage level (below 120 volts (DC)) within a very short time. This function is an integral part of the system and therefore does not require any additional installation measures or refractory construction measures, which helps to reduce the assembly costs.
